THE DESIGN PROCESS

  • 01.

    CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

    During this phase, we will determine the design direction for both form and function. The process will involve creating mood boards, floorplan layouts, and concept boards to ensure that we capture the essence of your vision.

  • 02.

    DESIGN REFINEMENT

    In the design refinement phase our floorplans will be developed into 2d and 3d drawings and renderings.

    In this phase we will provide specifications for all fixtures, fittings and furniture to both the client and their trades.

  • 03.

    CONSTRUCTION & PROCUREMENT

    During this phase, the client or designer arranges trades, and procures furniture and decor. Additionally, the designer will be available to handle administrative tasks, make orders, finalise details and make revisions as necessary.

  • 04.

    FURNISHING & STYLING

    The final stage of our design process is the on-site installation and styling. This is where the magic happens, as you get to see your design come to life in your newly renovated or styled home.

    It's an exciting experience that brings the entire process together.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, we regularly work with existing pieces our clients already own and enjoy. Our services focus on the overall design and re-furnishing of a space to ensure a cohesive and well-considered result. As such, we don’t offer standalone services for selecting small décor items only.

  • No, my fee proposals will only relate to my time spent and services offered. Furnishings will be priced and presented in the phase stage of our design process.

  • Yes, trade discounts when available will be passed onto my clients who have a current project with me.

  • I take care of the heavy lifting throughout the design process. To ensure everything runs smoothly, it’s important that clients communicate promptly and respond to emails in a timely manner. Open and honest feedback about likes and dislikes is essential and begins at the very start of the project, when I request inspiration images to guide the overall design direction.
